Garage Kunz AG – Charging infrastructure including 14 amina charging points

Garage Kunz AG, a family-run business with strong regional roots, successfully commissioned its new solar power system in the summer of 2025.

Sustainable energy for electric mobility

With 168 solar panels covering 335 m² of roof space, the system generates up to 11 MWh of electricity during the summer months. At the same time, the charging infrastructure was also expanded – an ideal combination. This is because a large proportion of this energy powers the company’s own electric vehicles, whilst customers can also access emission-free electricity via 14 AC charging stations from amina charging, four of which are open to the public.

Benefits for customers and the environment

By combining solar power with modern charging infrastructure, customers benefit from a simple, zero-emission energy supply. At the same time, environmental impact is reduced. The charging points are designed to be user-friendly and ensure a high level of operational reliability.

A step towards the future

With this project, Garage Kunz AG is demonstrating its commitment to sustainable mobility and the responsible use of energy. Every ray of sunlight generated is put to good use, and every charge contributes to zero-emission mobility. The facility stands for progress, innovation and a sustainable future for electric mobility.

Planning and implementation by experts

Volta Elektro und Telecom AG from Winterthur took charge of the planning and implementation of this forward-looking project. Thanks to their extensive experience with the Invisia system, every step was professionally managed, ensuring that the solar installation and load management could be seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure.
