Efficient use of heating and service water
Consumption trades in apartment buildings
The diagram shows the two largest electricity consumers in private households – space heating, cooking and hot water. Heating and hot water can be easily integrated into an energy management system and thus optimally coordinated.

Solar energy for hot water and heating
The Invisia Cube can not only control and optimize energy, it can also use surplus solar energy to heat hot water and domestic hot water. This means that the energy generated by the solar system is optimally used and utilized at all times. The result is a higher return on investment for your system and lower energy costs.
Install the Invisia Cube and integrate the solar system and the desired energy consumers.
Install electric heating elements in the buffer tank and/or electric boiler.
Use surplus solar energy to heat heating and domestic hot water cost-effectively.
Monitoring and billing in the Invisia app
Both operators and users of the energy management system have access to their data at all times. This allows them to keep track of the consumption and costs incurred by individual energy consumers or the entire system at all times. Billing can either be carried out by the operator or outsourced to the responsible energy supplier thanks to an interface.
Model for consumption-based energy and water billing (VEWA)
Consumption-based energy billing (VEWA) is a method of recording energy consumption in buildings and billing according to actual consumption.
This approach enables a fair billing system in which residents only pay for the energy they actually use. As an additional effect, it motivates people to use energy more sparingly and reduces overall energy consumption.
As a rule, VEWA uses modern measuring devices such as heat meters or water meters to precisely determine the consumption of heating, hot and cold water. This data then forms the basis for annual billing.
All of this data can be recorded and visualized on the Invisia energy management system and used for billing service charges.
Conclusion
The role of water and heat in energy management with a photovoltaic system is crucial. Both resources contribute to increasing the efficiency of energy production and minimizing the environmental impact. The combination of renewable energy generation, water utilization and heat integration plays a key role in a sustainable energy future.
